Stacked Books

And now for the

Book Sale

The smell of a book, perhaps an old one, the feeling of crisp pages or maybe it is the gently aged ones moving swiftly as you turn each page, books have a story, written in them and from the hands they have traveled. Each one is unique, special to someone, and ready for new eyes to read and an open mind to learn.

Through generous donations near and far, we have been gifted thousands of books that hopefully will end up in your home to be read once more. Our group has dedicated volunteers that help each week to sort, organize and enter each book for all ages for our daily and annual book sales.

Want to view the books we have?

*We are not taking requests at the moment, only for homebound deliveries. Inventory is subject to change so we recommend checking back frequently or close to the book sales.

What might you find in the Book Sale?

Where do the proceeds from the book sale go?

All of the proceeds from the book sales go directly to the Friends group who then, with the library, decides what the libraries needs are.

How have the proceeds helped our local library?

We have been able to purchase experiences passes that give patrons the ability to visit places they might not have been able to before. We are working towards larger goals that the library has, but you'll just have to stay tuned for those ideas by continuing to follow us on social media, attend fundraising events and become a friend!
